Steve Norsworthy

Electrical and Operations Technician

Steve was born in October of 1961 at UCLA while his parents were attending university. They settled in Fresno, CA where Steve grew up. He attended Bullard High School graduating in 1979 and played soccer while also earning his Eagle Scout badge. In February of 1981, Steve joined the Air Force and became an Electronic Warfare Technician. He was stationed at Hahn Air Base in April of 1982 where he was able to utilize the German he learned in both junior and senior high school! He also had the opportunity to play soccer while stationed there! In April of 1984, he was assigned to Offutt AFB in Omaha Nebraska where his career took off. He started working on RC-135s and started flying in 1987 as an Airborne Maintenance Technician. Steve traveled the world (stationed in Crete, England, and many deployments to Saudi Arabia).

He retired in February 2001 and started working with Raytheon, eventually relocating to Greenville, Texas. Steve worked in various positions until 2011 when he decided to become a barista at Starbucks. During this time, Steve met Teresa and John Quinn. Because of Steve’s work ethic (which was noticed by John & Teresa’s daughter who worked alongside Steve at Starbucks) and his military & Raytheon background, Steve was invited to EXOS Aerospace to visit. The rest is history! In his off hours, Steve likes to ride his bike, race a little, listen to rock & blues music, and read. Steve never thought he would have a job as important as a flier in the Air Force, but now believes he was wrong. Steve now considers himself one of the luckiest guys in the world!
