KSF Space signs NDA with EXOS Aerospace

KSF Space Foundation has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with EXOS Aerospace in Texas, this Nov. the 2nd 2016. Under the agreement, EXOS Aerospace will identify launch opportunities and provide associated pre-launch support to KSF Space Foundation.

“The partnership with EXOS Aerospace is a considerable indicator in the development of our scope towards space R&D projects, we are elevating to our research and academic customers the ability to get into space with cost-effective ride-share chances with other commercial launch companies in the market.” said Dr.Kayyali Mohamed, founder of KSF Space, of the agreement.

EXOS Aerospace is a company that has taken the skills from more than a decade of practical lessons learned, millions of dollars worth of development building and flying everything from manned rocket planes, to lunar landers to suborbital rockets. The experience of our team puts us about a decade ahead of others competing with us in the commercial space race. The EXOS Aerospace team has fulfilled multiple contracts with NASA and is engaged to fly a NASA FOP payload In early 2017.  Through all of this, the EXOS team has developed and tested over a hundred rocket engines and dozens of flying vehicles.  EXOS is excited about serving educational research and commercial markets.

The KSF Space was initially founded to enable cost-effective access to LEO with zero-environmental impact flying solutions. The foundation offers access to near-space and LEO for research and scientific experiments in many fields, as Earth or Space Observation, biological testing, satellite positioning detection, earth magnetic field measurement, radio transmit, atmosphere science and technology experiment. The foundation encourage universities to develop R&D missions using small sats as these tiny spacecraft have become one of the most important elements in developing future scientific space missions.

KSF Space also recently announced the creation of the world’s first Nano-satellite Engineering Professional Certification “NEP Certificate” The NEP Certification pathway will validate the training and experience of aerospace engineers and experts and will be recognized by major space companies, organizations, foundations and agencies. Some of the industry partners like Interorbital Systems & EXOS Aerospace will work with KSF Space to review the content of the course material and accredit the certificate by recognizing NEP Certification as world’s first and only nanosatellite specialization and training credential.
